Military Drills

Baton Officers

Physical and Mental Discipline

Military drills are used both as a form of physical training and mental discipline for the new recruits of First Guards Security Group Limited.

It is a basic but essential part of the mind-body training for security officers. Military drills are done throughout our induction course.
Criminal Law

Exercise the Law

Officers with arrest powers, need to know exactly what the laws are and how to exercise them. Our training covers every situation from burglaries and robberies to criminal trespassing and bomb threats.

Identify and remove hazards

Our mandatory induction program includes training in fire protection, fire suppression and fire prevention.

Officers are taught to eliminate the causes of fire and reduce the potential for loss of life, injury, and property damage by identification and elimination of hazards, enforcement of fire regulations and the proper usage of fire protection equipment.

Essential skills

Officers of First Guards receive communication skills training.

Whether it is giving directions, interviewing/interrogating a suspect, interacting with a client or reporting an incident, effective communication is essential to an officer's success and to the success of the business he protects.

Self Defense

Firearm Officers

Protect yourself and your client

All security officers employed by First Guards receive training in the use of leverages, restraints, pressure points, take-downs and the baton.

Self defense against an attacker is a skill required by all security officers allowing them to provide a calibrated response to violence.

Due Process

You will be taught how to protect the case against a criminal through detailed and accurate record keeping of incidents, lawful arrest, detention, interview and interrogation procedures.
Public Relations

People skills are essential

We train our officers in public relations enabling them to better deal with everyday and emergency situations while on duty.

How security deals and interacts with the public influences the public's view of the entire organization. If and when an emergency incident should arise, the security officers' public relations skills can determine the outcome of the incident, as they are often first on the scene.

Security Duties

Cash in Transit

70% or more required to pass.

Applicants will receive formal training and in modern security practices: the "detect, deter, observe and report" methodology.

This training is delivered as a series of classroom sessions with an exam at the end. Applicants must score 70% or more in order to qualify for employment.
First Aid

Payroll Service

Protect Life

Every officer employed with First Guards Security Group Limited is fully trained in CPR and First Aid. Satisfactory completion of First Aid training is compulsory for employment.

General Security Survey

Learn the correct response

This training focuses on security awareness, security risk management skills and appropriate responses to detection of suspicious activity, threats, fires or any other emergency for the clients being protected.

Clients protected by First Guards are assured that our security officers know exactly what to do in the case of an emergency.
