Officers Training in Safety Gear

OSHA

All duties and training exercises carried out by First Guards must comply with the latest OSHA guidelines. Further requirements may be added where OSHA is inadequate or inapplicable.

Also our policies include mandatory OSHA training for all supervisory and management personnel employed with First Guards Security Group Limited.

Precepts Mandatory

Every officer carrying a firearm must posses a Trinidad and Tobago Firearm User's Employee's Certificate (FUEC). All armed offers at First Guards are precepted.

We adhere to this policy strictly to ensure that all officers carrying firearms do so effectively and legally.

Training and Development

First Guard Security Officers in Training

Officer Training

All officers of First Guards must successfully complete our mandatory training program before being employed. The program follows a syllabus prescribed by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Training Academy and a passing grade of 70% must be achieved on the final exam.

Depending on the nature of the assignment, the officers deployed may be required to undergo Special Training.
